News!

The Guardian is a British newspaper very interesting to read, I research and found out some interesting information: that is published Monday to Saturday in the Berliner format, this is a special format where the pages are taller and wider than in normal newspapers. Also until 1959 was called The Manchester Guardian, reflecting its city of origin. The paper's readership is generally on the mainstream left of British political opinion: a MORI poll taken between April and June 2000 showed that 80% og "Guardian readers" were Labour PArty voters, which is a centre- left political party in the United Kingdom, and one of the two main British political along wit the Conservative Party.

The guardian is a very complete paper with information of all kinds, politics, sports, women, national, culture, travel, business, etc.. It also has an online format that allows readers around the world can access it and also to see some videos, photos and other interesting things.

The paper has also launched a dating website, Soulmates and is experimenting with new media, having previously offered a free twelve part weekly podcast series. This newspaper today is the only British national published in color, is also the first to be printed in the Berliner format.

A fun fact is the paper's nickname is "The Grauniad", this anagram played on the The Guardian's reputation for frequent typographical errors, such as misspelling its own name.
